Zac’s House (Dec)

November has been another active month for all at Zac’s House. Our Renew52 wellbeing cafe is going well. We are continuing to work towards partnering with other organisations, so that we can signpost people to other places that they may find helpful, in addition to Renew52, as well as being signposted to us.

The Young Disciples group is strengthening as our young people explore more about prayer and God’s word, and we are continuing to build good friendships with our neighbours and seeing them come regularly to our Alpha group, Renew and other events.

Remembrance Sunday saw many of us at Anderton Boat Lift, where Neal led the service. It was well attended by people from Northwich and beyond, and was a lovely service to remember all those who have given their lives for our freedom.

As rehearsals start for panto season, it means we have been looking for somewhere else to hold our worship gatherings as we are unable to use the Memorial Court. We are pleased to announce that we will be meeting at Victoria Road Primary School, and are looking forward to welcoming people as we gather together to worship Jesus and share in His Word.

A number of us recently attended Launch conference. Two of us went last year and were so inspired by the teaching, that we booked six tickets in faith for this year! Launch encourages us all to be making disciples. The focus is on multiplication, that we are all here to share God’s Good News. We should be hearing what the Holy Spirit is saying, seeing what He is doing, and going where He sends us. Everyone who attended was very inspired by the teaching, and we are looking forward to using what we have learnt!

We are looking forward to Christmas, and have lots planned, including Carols and Christingles in the High Street, carols at Anderton Boat Lift and our Christmas worship gathering. We will also be at Northwich’s Christmas Extravaganza again this year, with the amazing balloon nativity, handing out mince pies! All of this gives us plenty of opportunity to be sharing the real story behind Christmas and inviting people to all that Zac’s House is doing.
