Zac’s House (Feb)

“I lift my eyes to the hills where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord the Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalm 121 1-2

Zac’s House at Hope52 have really felt led to reach out to the local community during the Christmas period with a number of ministries. We opened our doors and partnered with the Extravaganza on the streets of Northwich, talking about Hope and the real reason for Christmas, with a Balloon Nativity, music, games and mince pies. With this being such a success we followed it with Carol Singing, Christingles and a Prayer Labyrinth at Hope52 two weeks later. It was a real Zac’s community event where we engaged with young families sharing the Hope of Jesus.

We took this opportunity to launch our Coat Ministry outside our doors. We started with 6 coats and a sign and over this festive period we have shared more than 40 coats, partnering with the Salvation Army and we have been blessed by many people in the community bringing their own coats to donate.

ZHKC (Zac’s House Kingdom Community) have a new worship venue in Victoria Road Primary School. We sense we are in the place where God wants us to be, to enable us to reach out to the local community. We have a really exciting year ahead of us at ZHKC. Joining our team is Rebecca McNeill as our Trainee Church Planter. She has experience in being part of a church community and feels led to serve her community and reach people for Jesus, as part of Zac’s House and we are really excited at what God has in store for her. Please pray for Becca to have God’s direction, strength and courage for what lies ahead.

We have a small team, led by Neal, going out to Uganda this month. This is a mission trip and preparation for a larger trip later on this year. We ask for prayers for this trip, for the team to be Spirit led, have God’s protection and that they are able to share God’s vision and Hope for the future.

Future Events: In March we are so excited in welcoming back the Watoto Children’s Choir to Northwich Memorial Court on 3rd at 7pm. Last year they were amazing and so full of the Holy Spirit, please bring your friends along to this fantastic worship opportunity and pray that we have a mighty response to the message.

Also, we are having the Official Opening of Hope52 in conjunction with Renew 52 (our wellbeing space) by the High Sheriff of Cheshire on 11th at 7pm. This is a great opportunity to support our work in Northwich and to see just how much God is moving in this place. Thank you for all your prayers and support for Zac’s House and we look forward to all God has planned for us in 2020.
