Action for Children
This year Action for Children Sunday is on 12th July.
Free online advice for parents

Online resources from Action For Children — to support children and families. Our Coronavirus (COVID-19) – advice and support brings together a wide range of topics categorised by subject matter and by children’s ages (i.e. 0 to 5 years, 5 to 12 years and 13 years and above). We also offer free and confidential live chat with our parenting coaches.
Action for Children has launched a Coronavirus Emergency Appeal to help provide essentials to the most vulnerable families we support across the UK and those potentially affected in the future.  Please go to their website to donate.

Prayer themes for July — As we continue in isolation, fearing illness even bereavement, unsure about finances and employment and sometimes unable to pray, we thank you Jesus that in our despair, you delight to creep on us. May your presence flood every corner of our lives, and of all who seek You now, bathing us with light and love and joy, despite our present circumstances. Amen.

Prayers for this week —
Please pray for all those who are unwell, for those preparing for surgery or receiving treatment and for those going through other significant life events.

We pray for Hannah Webb, Brendan, Liz McGrath, Betty Howes, Kate Walker, Kate Wilkinson, Pete Thompson, Sarah McKechnie, Margaret Rimmer, Alison Maynard.

We pray for Jan Preston and all the family following the death of John on Thursday and ask for your comfort at this time.

We pray for the family of Maureen Ryder as we prepare for her funeral on Saturday 20th June, especially her children Stephen and Caroline.

Also for the family of Phil Worsley (son of Dorothy) who has died suddenly. Rob is taking his funeral in Yorkshire on Wednesday 24th June. Please pray for his wife Maureen and children Jill, Kay and Helen.
