JOLLY TOTS PLANS FOR THE AUTUMN
We know many of you will be wondering what the situation is regarding Jolly Tots restarting in September.
Whilst we would love to be able to welcome you back at the start of the school term, this is not yet going to be possible. The health and wellbeing of all those entering the church building is the main thing, and staff have been following the guidelines and undertaken appropriate risk assessments. We hope that Jolly Tots may be able to restart in the autumn, once the Church Council has given the go-ahead. In order to gauge potential numbers, it would be helpful to know if your child is still keen to attend, is starting preschool or if your circumstances have changed and are unable to attend.
If we are able to restart, there are likely to be necessary changes in the short term. These could include using the church hall, restricting numbers by having separate sessions and possibly suspending snack time. In addition, we may not have our full complement of volunteers due to the current age restriction of not allowing those aged 70+ to help, in which case we would be reliant on parents/carers playing a part in ensuring the sessions run safely.
I feel sure we will be able to make Jolly Tots feel just as welcoming as before!
Please take the time to reply to this at: firstname.lastname@example.org. We have missed you and are doing our best to reconnect with our Jolly Tots, so your prompt response will be a great help.
Thinking of you all,
PS If any of you are struggling for any reason in these difficult times and would like to chat, please feel free to leave a message via the church office and I will be happy to get back to you, in confidence.
