Youth Led Worship

Tonight, the young people at KMC led our worship, on the theme "Worship". With new and old (nearly 13 years old!) songs, video, drama and discussion, they really led us in worship!

As a worship leader, I, of course, had to make lots of notes to get pointers on what I should be doing... But Alistair's talk on the women with the alabaster jar was inspirational, straightforward and challenging.

Biography:

With its new Chapel the Knutsford Wesleyan Methodist Society also sought to have, for the first time, its own resident Minister. The person appointed (1864-1866) was the Rev. Charles W. Prest. It is noteworthy that in 1865 the Chapel's quarterly payments to the Circuit Stewards towards the minister's stipend amounted to £8 per annum. One century later (1965) the equivalent figure had increased by over a hundred-fold.
