Lovat Drive Housegroup
We are a group who seek to understand the relevance of the bible in our lives.
We meet on alternate Thursdays throughout the year at 7.30 pm.
We have been meeting for over 15 years and the youngest member is 55, the oldest approaching a big birthday.
Some of our members go to churches other than KMC and our church backgrounds are Roman Catholic, Anglican and Methodist. There are 15 of us, some have been coming for all those years but our latest members have joined us within the last 6 months. Many of us are busy in retirement so sometimes there are as few as six of us. Whatever the number we have a valuable time with a fair amount of fun and laughter.
We have studied books of the bible in the past but in the last 9 months we have looked at the themes of the refugee crisis, the end of life bill, and more recently shared looking at the cross through the eyes of different Easter characters.
We enjoy a nice cup of tea.
We have shared life’s ups and downs and know of the sustaining power of Jesus in our lives on a day to day basis.
We would be happy for you to come along for a taster with no obligation. If you would prefer to meet for coffee on a one to one basis initially then that would be just great.
