New Year - New Activity?
Volunteer for the British Red Cross

Would you volunteer? The British Red Cross is hosting an open day at Memorial House, Northwich Road, Knutsford, on Wednesday, February 4th from 11:00am – 3:00pm.

Come along and enjoy home-made cakes, tea and coffee, while finding out about the wide variety of volunteer-opportunities available for our medical loan, care in the home, first-aid services and our fire and ambulance support service. Some duties may include booking medical loan equipment, or visiting and shopping for people who have been discharged from hospital.

The British Red Cross helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. We are part of a global, voluntary network, responding to conflicts, natural disasters and individual emergencies.

We enable vulnerable people in the UK and abroad to prepare for and withstand emergencies in their own communities. And when the crisis is over, we help them to recover and move on with their lives. For more information about the Red Cross please visit www.redcross.org.uk or contact the church office.
