Zac’s House in Northwich (Dec)

As we enter this season of Advent, we are thankful for the ability to reflect and remember God’s faithfulness and love.

Over the last few weeks, we have been encouraged by the way we have grown both in number and depth. As we have met each week, we have grown in our understanding of who we are in Jesus, and it has been great to hear stories of the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in individuals as they respond to the
good news of Jesus. It has been wonderful to have Anne Donaldson’s teaching on identity through November and to have the wonderful input of so many
gifted people in our community.
Those taking part in the Spirit of Enterprise are doing really well in progressing their business ideas. You may have seen the recent write up about the Spirit of
Enterprise in The Times or seen the interview with founder, Matt Bird, on GBTV, as the course is taken up by more and more churches both in this country and
abroad, looking to support local people in developing sustainable ways of supporting themselves using their God-given talents.

All 4 of our mentees are putting their skills into action, and part of this will include opportunity to sell at a craft stall at the Christmas Extravaganza on
27th November.
As you read this, we will have just taken part in Northwich’s Christmas Extravaganza. Having Hope52 in the main high street gives us lots of opportunities.
We will have a base there sharing ‘pies and prayers’ with passers-by, offering mince/fruit pies and the opportunity to be prayed for.

Our friend Richard is coming, once again, to build a balloon nativity throughout the day with 3-foot-high figures all from modelling balloons! We will be carol singing and offering the opportunity for people to have a Christmas portrait photo taken. We pray that the conversations we have had, and the prayers spoken over people will have a lasting impact in their hearts and minds.
Our Boxes of Hope and Furniture Ministry continues to bless many families in the local area and the relationships we are building are bearing fruit, as some
have begun engaging with our outreach activities such as Renew 52. Through Advent we are doing Reverse Advent Calendars, giving something everyday, to
enable us to help families over Christmas and to show them God’s love through what can be a joyous but also a difficult time for some. If anyone would like to
contribute towards this, please contact us at zacskingdomcommunity@gmail.com

On 5th December, we will be gathering at FoxhillRetreat Centre to spend time together worshipping, praying and seeking God’s will for the continued way
forward of Zac’s. We are looking forward to spending some time out together and are excited to see where God is leading us.

So much has happened over the last couple of years, and as we look to the future, we want to ensure we are following God’s will and purpose for
us and the town.
This Christmas, we are once again running ‘Carols in Cars’, a drive-in carol service in Sainsbury’s car park, Venables Road, in partnership with the Salvation Army.
It was much enjoyed by people last year and we are looking forward to the opportunity to bring the celebration of the birth of Jesus out into the town and
sharing the message of hope that He brought with Him. This will take place on Sunday 19th December at 6pm. You will be able to book a car space via Eventbrite.
(We will post the link on KMC WhatsApp group as soon as booking is available) we suggest you take the opportunity to book early so as to avoid
disappointment.
As we look forward into 2022, we are excited by all God has planned for us which includes our continued outreach programme of Renew 52, Boxes of Hope,
Compassion Cakes, Furniture Ministry, Mentoring in Weaverham High School, Prison Ministry, overseas mission to Uganda and new things such as Baby
Clothes Exchange, partnering with local volunteer groups to look after the world we are living in and as ever to look at what we need to Start, Stop, Change
and Continue as the Holy Spirit leads us.

Please pray for us as we pray for you, that God may use us in a way that brings his Love and Compassion to everyone we meet and in building God’s kingdom here on earth.
